Mild Cold Wave Sweeps Over Southwestern Part of Country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today said a mild cold wave is sweeping over the territories of Rajshahi, Jashore, and Chuadanga.

The met office also predicted that the mild cold wave may continue in the next week, said a release here today. 

The lowest temperature was recorded at 08.4 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga today.

Weather may remain dried with partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am. 

Moderate to thick fog may occur at areas over the country from midnight to morning, added the release.

Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 28.3 degree Celsius at Teknaf.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The sun sets at 5.16 pm today and rises at 6.37 am tomorrow in the capital.
