Four Held for Spreading Question Paper Leak Rumours

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four persons from different parts of the country today for allegedly spreading rumors about SSC and equivalent examination question paper leak.

The arrestees were held from Rampura in the capital, Gazipur, and Khulna districts said RAB-1 Deputy Director Morshedul Hassan confirming the matter.

The arrestees have been identified as Md Abu Bakkar Siddique, 28, Shakil Mahmud, 20, Saimon Islam, 20 and Al Mahmud, 18.

Earlier, Minister of Education Dipu Moni said all coaching centers across the country will remain closed for a month from Jan 25, with the aim of preventing leakage of question paper during the SSC and its equivalent exams.

Also, she said that the government has taken strict surveillance measures to stop SSC question paper leakage.

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations under 11 education boards began today across the country.
