Govt Plans to Set Up National Judicial Academy

Mentioning that the government of Prime Minister Sheik Hasina has established the rule of law in the country, Law Minister Anisul Haq said that the government is planning to set up a national judicial academy in Shibchar, Madaripur district, with a view to providing training to the people concerned.

"As ordered by Prime Minister Sheik Hasina, a national judicial academy will be set up in the country as preparation is very necessary for the institutionalization of the judicial system," he said after visiting the proposed land of the judicial training academy here this afternoon.

The law minister said that the government headed by Sheik Hasina has established the rule of law in the country, adding that the judiciary is acting as an independent body.

The Minister was accompanied during the visit by Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury, Madaripur District Council Chairman M Miazuddin Khan, Deputy Commissioner M Wahidul Islam and District Awami League Senior Vice President Munir Chowdhury among others.
