People Infected With Fever, Cough, Sneeze Asked to Avoid Public Transports

Health Minister Zahid Maleque urged the countrymen on Sunday to avoid the use or traveling public transport if they catch fever, cough or sneeze to prevent coronavirus spread in the country.

"No one will get to or ride on public transit whether he or she is afflicted by conditions such as fatigue, cough, and sneezing," he said.

He made a statement while addressing a press conference after attending an inter-ministerial meeting on steps taken to avoid and resolve the outbreak of coronavirus in the country at the Secretariat in the city.

Secretaries and high officials of some 18 concerned ministries were present in the meeting.

Zahid Maleque confirmed that two new coronavirus-infected patients had been detected in the country, while the first three patients had been released from the hospital as they had fully recovered.

The Minister also stated that the government is very careful to prevent coronavirus spread in the country.
