CMP Imposes Ban on Gathering at Patenga Sea Beach

A ban has been placed on the gathering of coronavirus at Patenga Sea Beach in the port city to prevent further spread of coronavirus in the country.

The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) put limits on the crowd on Wednesday afternoon.

Confirming the news, CMP Commissioner Mahbubur Rahman said that additional police forces were deployed at two entry points.     

The CMP came up with a ban after the latest images of a large number of people gathered at Patenga Beach went viral on social media.
