Fisheries Ministry Distributes 12,566 PPEs among Doctors

In a bid to deter coronavirus transmission (COVID-19), the Fisheries and Livestock Ministry has distributed 12,566 Personal Security Equipment (PPEs) throughout the country to physicians, nurses, and other health care providers.

On Monday, following an order from Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, the Livestock Services Department's district and Upazila level offices under the eight divisional offices started distributing PPEs across the region, a press release said on Tuesday.

The ministry distributed 12,566 PPEs so far, the release added.
