Dhaka-Chattogram Freight Train Service Suspended

Freight train service between Dhaka and Chattogram remained suspended from Sunday noon, as there is no room for holding containers at the Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Dhaka.

The freight train service was suspended from 12 pm due to space scarcity at the ICD, Mia Jahan, Bangladesh Railway's additional managing director (operations), told the media.

The operation of freight trains will resume once space at the ICD is available, he said.
