The law enforcers could not find out at least 35,000 foreign returnees after conducting drives at their respective addresses of passports of the country till Tuesday.

According to the media report, all returnees from abroad did not obey the government's orders properly even though they were told to send details to local police stations if they did not live at their respective locations or addresses as per passport information.

According to the media study, all returnees from abroad did not obey the government's orders properly even though they were told to send details to local police stations if they did not live at their respective locations or addresses as per passport records.

In this regard, the Government has instructed international returnees to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the region.

Sources confirmed that all international returnees who willingly submitted details and who were also found by the police inquiry are still under the oversight of law enforcement authorities.

Cases may be filed against them if they are established as liable for the dissemination of coronavirus following a violation of the Government Directive.

Different civil steps will be brought against overseas returnees who have gone into hiding. Nonetheless, help may be given to anyone who would willingly speak, according to numerous police reports.
