Sangsad Bangladesh Television will begin broadcasting pre-recorded lessons for primary school students on Tuesday.
Lessons will also be taught to pre-primary pupils, as announced by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Sunday after the government prolonged the closure of educational establishments to 14 April with the coronavirus outbreak.
During the program ‘Ghore Bose Shikhi’, lessons will be given on every subject for 20 minutes from 2 pm to 4 pm every day.
Students in grades one to five are required to complete a series of assignments after completing lessons and to apply it to their instructors after the schools have reopened. The scores received on homework assignments should be regarded as part of their continuous evaluation.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has also begun broadcasting courses for high school graduates in grades VI-X.
