NCC Mayor Appeals to PM to Impose Curfew in Narayanganj

Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy has requested Prime Minister Sheik Hasina to impose an immediate curfew in the City Corporation Area to test the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the district.

Otherwise, the coronavirus case is going to go out of reach, she apprehended.

The press statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the City Corporation, Abul Amin revealed this information at noon on Sunday.

According to Selina Hayat Ivy, the request was made to save people's lives due to the elevated incidence of COVID-19 and the possibility of coronary infection in a densely populated city.
