47 Bangladeshis in Singapore Test COVID-19 Positive in Just 1 Day

A total of 47 Bangladeshis tested positive for COVID-19 in Singapore in only one day on Tuesday. As a consequence, the number of Bangladeshis diagnosed with the virus has risen to 115 in the country.

The number of coronavirus infected Bangladeshis has been rising in Singapore since last week, according to the Singapore Ministry of Health website.

However, Singapore reported 106 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Of these, 103 are local cases and three are imported. They bring the total number of cases here to 1,481.

Among the local cases, links to existing clusters have been established for 52 cases, of which 39 are linked to clusters at foreign worker dormitories.

There are 10 cases that have been related to other cases. Contact tracing is performed with the remaining 41 cases.

Although no new patient clusters were reported on Tuesday, 10 additional cases were added to the current cluster at S11 Dormitory in Punggol. There are currently 98 cases-the the biggest clusters here so far.
