Cox’s Bazar Locked Down

Today, Cox's Bazar district has been locked down to fight the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Confirming the development to the media, Deputy Commissioner Md Kamal Hossain said the district is under lockdown, starting this afternoon. The lockdown will continue until the further warning has been given in this regard

From now on, no one can enter or exit the area, he said.

He warned he'd take stern action if someone defied the order.
