Bank Asia’s Chattogram Branch Comes Under Lockdown

Bank Asia Limited's branch in the port city has been locked down as a positive coronavirus patient reported to have visited the bank two days ago, according to media reports.

On Thursday, Chattogram district administration asked the bank authorities to close all of its activities due to the patient's visit.

Confirming the issue, Kamal Hossain, Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram, said, "Three people screened coronavirus positive on Wednesday. One of them, an official garment official, visited the bank on Tuesday."

"As a precautionary measure, we asked the bank to shut down all its activities and put it under lockdown from Thursday, "he added.
