Moulvibazar to Go Under Lockdown This Evening

The district of Moulvibazar will be locked down from Monday evening to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

District Deputy Commissioner Nazia Shirin issued a circular in this regard after the first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the district.

The lockdown will be effective from 5:00 p.m. and will last until further notice, the circular said, adding that no one will enter or exit the district.

Public transport and business establishments will be closed as usual, but emergency services, food outlets, and specialist care will be beyond the limits of the lockdown.
