Man Dies in Rangamati Corona Isolation Centre

A 55-year-old man died early Monday in the Rangamati General Hospital isolation center with coronavirus symptoms.

Confirming the news, Rangamati civil surgeon Bipash Khisa said the patient, hailing from Rupnagar district town, was admitted to Rangamati General Hospital on April 10 as he was suffering from fever, cold, cough and respiratory problems.

Samples were collected from the deceased to be sent to the coronavirus test, the official said.

While the local administration kept the deceased family members under home quarantine.
