4 More Test Positive for Coronavirus in Munshiganj: Civil Surgeon

Four more people, including a woman, has been diagnosed with coronavirus in Munshiganj, raising the total number to 18 in the district.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Abul Kalam Azad said he sent samples of 23 people on Sunday and four of them were found to be positive for coronavirus.

They include a vegetable vendor, 60, from Sadar Upazila, a pharmacist, 54, and a housewife, 55, from Upazila in Gaza, and 27, from Upazila in Sirajdikhan.

"So far, 128 people have received test results and 18 of them have been positive," Dr. Azad said.

Fifteen of them were sent to hospitals, while two others remain in their houses.

Samples of 147 people have so far been collected in the district and 19 individuals have not yet received the test reports, the civil surgeon said.
