Naogaon Under Lockdown

Naogaon has been placed under lockdown in a bid to check the spread of COVID-19 transmission.

The District Administration took the decision on Wednesday following a recommendation from the Regional Committee on Coronavirus Prevention, according to a notification signed by Harun-or-Rashid, Deputy Commissioner of Naogaon.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. (today), the lockdown will continue until further notice, the warning suggested.

According to Hatun-or-Rashid, emergency services such as medical care, supply chains, etc. will remain outside the control of the directive.

The civil administration, armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and elected officials should participate in organized collaboration in this respect, he added.
