Bangladesh Reports 15 More Coronavirus Deaths

The death toll from coronavirus in Bangladesh rose to 75 after 15 more deaths were reported in the last 24 hours at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Health Minister said.

This is the largest number of deaths owing to COVID-19 on a day in the country since the virus was first identified in Bangladesh on March 8.

Another 266 people tested positive for the virus, bringing the outbreak total to 1838, said Health Minister Zahid Maleque during an online briefing on Friday afternoon.

The recovery total was 58, with nine more patients returning in the last 24 hours.

A total of 2,190 samples have been checked over the last 24 hours.

Coronavirus is affecting 210 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
