ACC Sues UP Chairman in Narail

The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday filed a case against the chairman of Perli union Parishad of Kalia Upazila in Narail district for embezzling government rice.

Assistant director of ACC, Jashore district office, Mahfuz Iqbal filed the case.

According to the case,  chairman Jarjid Molla embezzled 2550 kgs of rice allocated for the poor under the social safety net program of the government.
