Social Distancing Being Violated in City

Although there are fewer pedestrians and fewer cars in the streets of the city, in terms of social space, the scenario is reversed in the different lanes and by-lanes of the localities.

The government's guidelines on mutual distancing are not being adequately implemented. Young adults, as well as men of young age, frequently travel here and there.

The traffic jam was created in several areas, according to the media report. Besides, rickshaws and auto-rickshaws are folding regularly.

Traffic jams, as well as regular movements of traffic, have been seen in numerous highways, streets, and by-lanes of Ashkona, Khilgaon, Uttar Badda, Rampura, and several other areas of the capital.

It is learned that a long tailback was observed at the Kancha Bazar (vegetable market) in Uttar Badda and persisted for many hours.

Battery-running auto-rickshaws and paddle-run rickshaws were seen from Uttar Badda Kancha Bazar to Satarkul Road in town from morning to noon on Wednesday.

The public meeting was conducted at Kancha Bazar (vegetable market) on Ulan Hill, Rampura, in the city, where social distinctions were not observed in compliance with the laws.
