Newly Appointed Doctors Posted to Coronavirus Hospitals

The government has posted 2000 doctors, who were recently appointed for the emergency need of the state due to the coronavirus crisis, to the COVID-19 designated hospitals or institutions.

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) issued a notification in this regard today asking them to join on May 12.

The circular said that the newly recruited doctors will have to work in the COVID-19 dedicated hospital/institution till further orders.

Earlier on May 4, the Ministry of Public Administration had issued a notification appointing the 2,000 doctors as assistant surgeons.
