95 Health Department Officials, Staff Recover in Kishoreganj

A total of 156 patients with coronavirus, including 95 district health staff, recovered in Kishoreganj until Sunday.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Md Mujibur Rahman received information from an exchange of views at the Deputy Commissioner's office at noon.

So far, 191 people have been tested positive in the district. Among them were 104 patients from the Health Department, including 48 doctors, 14 nurses, and 42 health workers.

Five doctors and four health staff are now receiving care and their situation is also increasing, the civil surgeon said.

Meanwhile, 10 policemen also recovered

Five people have died of coronavirus in the district so far. There are currently 30 patients with coronavirus in Kishoreganj.

Coronavirus cases in Bangladesh climbed to 14,657 on Sunday, following an announcement by the health authorities that 887 new patients had been identified in the last 24 hours.

Besides, 14 more deaths were reported during the period, taking the death toll in the country to 228.
