Sylhet Doctor Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Coronavirus has been diagnosed with Sylhet Shamsuddin Ahmmed Hospital.

The infected physician is Khaled Mahmud of the surgery department, said Dr. Anisur Rahman, Assistant Director (Disease Control) of the Sylhet Health Service.

His test result came out on Friday.

Earlier on April 15, Dr. Moyeen Uddin, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital, died of coronavirus at Kurmitola General Hospital.

On 6 May, the Bangladesh Doctors Foundation (BDF) reported that more than 600 doctors and about 400 nurses in both government and private hospitals were infected with coronavirus while treating patients.
