Shahjadpur Imam Dies While Administering Eid Jamaat

An imam in Shahjadpur, Sirajganj, died in Eid Jamaat on Monday morning. He was 70 years old.

He breathed his last while he was praying in the Sijda of Eid at the Shelachapri Madhyapara Jame Masjid.

The deceased was identified as Ayub Ali, a senior Arabic lecturer of Nandolalpur upazila in the district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ataur Rahman of Shahjadpur confirmed the case.

The incident created a gloom over the area on Eid day today (Monday).
