Bangladesh Sees No Dengue Case in 24 hrs

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), no new dengue cases have been reported in the last 24 hours until 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

Only one dengue patient is currently being treated at the hospital, according to the daily update of the DGHS.

Since the beginning of this year, 304 cases of dengue have been reported by Bangladesh health authorities. Of all, 303 patients have been discharged.

Last year, the country had a massive dengue outbreak, when 101,354 people were hospitalized. Of these, 101,037 made a full recovery.

According to official figures, the mosquito-borne disease killed 179 people last year.
