Educational Institutions to Remain Closed till June 15

The Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday announced that there will be no general holiday after May 30 but that educational institutions and public transport will remain closed till June 15. 

The decision of the government was learnt from media reports this afternoon.

Mentionable, all the country's educational institutions have been closed since March 17 after the country's coronavirus outbreak. The education institutions' holiday has also been extended with a gradual increase in general holidays.

Earlier this afternoon, a Bangla portal reported that a decision had been taken to further increase the holiday of educational institutions across the country.

The report stated that all academic institutions in the country will remain closed until coronavirus infection is controlled.

It was also informed that, for the welfare of students, the holidays of educational institutions will be further expanded. And officials from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education told that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina informed that education institutions haven't been established before September. 

Besides, policymakers are thinking to keep the educational activities continue staying at home or an alternative method of learning.
