Covid-19: 44 Newly Infected in 24 hrs in Feni

Forty-four more individuals in the district were found newly infected with coronavirus or Covid-19 in the regular tally announced by the health authorities on Friday.

Civil surgeon Dr Sajjad Hossain reported the case and stated that a total of 133 people had been tested positive in the district.

So far three people have died and 52 recovered from the virus, he said.

Meanwhile, the health authorities have confirmed the detection of a record of 2,523 new patients from across the country in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 42,844. Twenty-three additional individuals died of coronavirus, with a death count of 582.
