Md Ashadul Islam Made Senior Secretary

Md Ashadul Islam, who was recently transferred to Planning Division from Health Services Division, has been promoted to senior secretary of the government.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification on Tuesday in this regard.

Earlier on June 4, the govt replaced Health Services Division secretary Ashadul Islam by Abdul Mannan, chairman of the Land Reform Board, amid questions over the handling of the mask scam during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
