Bangladesh Covid-19 Cases Stand at 119,198, Deaths 1,545

Bangladesh recorded a rise of 3,412 more coronavirus cases and 43 the virus deaths in the past 24 hours.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, the number of total infections and fatalities stood at 119,198 and 1,545 respectively.  

Bangladesh first reported its COVID-19 cases on 8 March. Since then, the country has been witnessing an increase in infections and deaths.

Coronavirus first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan last December and then spread to 213 countries and territories.
