A total of 19 Indian sailors who were stranded in Chittagong amid flight suspension owing to COVID-19 left for their home by charter flight from local airline Novoair.
The Novoair special flight carried 19 stranded Indian sailors from Dhaka to Kolkata, the airline official said.
Earlier on June 10, the US-Bangla Airlines, another private carrier in the country, repatriated 45 Indian sailors who had been stranded here due to the continued suspension of their flights to New Delhi by operating a chartered special flight.
