CMP-Bidyanondo Hospital Starts Journey in CTG

A 100-bed hospital, mutually started by Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) and Bidyanondo Foundation, officially began its procedure on Wednesday to give free treatment to coronavirus infected patients. 

Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner Md Mahabubor Rahman inaugurated the CMP-Bidyanondo Field Hospital in the port city's Patenga zone, said an official statement. 

''Chattogram Metropolitan Police is glad for being engaged with Bidyanondo Foundation's drive to serve the helpless people. Each individual from the police division is filling in as forefront warriors to fight the pandemic from the very start,'' he said.

Mahbub trusted that the hospital will help fortify the human services administrations to the helpless corona infected patients in Chattogram. ''It’ll also inspire people to be more humanitarian.''

Authorities associated with the medical clinic venture said four separate wards for male and female patients have been set up and a focal oxygen framework has been introduced nearby having a convenient oxygen framework at the emergency clinic. 

They said 12 doctors, 18 nurses and 50 volunteers are working with the emergency clinic to treat corona patients with nonstop health services. 

Bidyanondo Foundation’s vice chairman Farrukh Ahmed thanked the CMP for extending its cooperation in setting up the hospital.

Bidyanondo Foundation has been serving humanity since its formation, but when the coronavirus pandemic struck the country it decided to build a partnership with Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) to set up the hospital.
