Jute Ministry’s Joint Secretary Dies Of Covid-19

Khurshid Alam, the joint secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, died from coronavirus in the capital 's hospital early Saturday.

Alam was undergoing treatment at Labaid Hospital, where he breathed his last around 12:50 a.m., according to a message of condolence from Officer's Club, Dhaka.

He was a member of the BCS 86-batch administration cadre, the message said.

In a message of condolence, the club members prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul of the joint secretary and conveyed deep sympathy to his family members.
