No Gas Supply for 12Hrs in Some City Areas on Sunday

City dwellers in several places do not get gas for 12 hours on Sunday due to gas pipeline relocation operation, according to Titas Gas.

Areas under the route of the Elevated Expressways include both sides of Shaheed Taj Uddin Avenue, Banani, Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka Cantonment residential area, East Nakhalpara and neighboring areas.

People in such areas do not get gas from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., said Deputy General Manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd Eng Md Selim.

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd will work on the relocation of pipelines and the re-establishment of consumer gas lines from Mohakhali Bus Stop to Banani Railway Station during this period, he added.
