Mohammad Shahin Iqbal New Navy Chief

Rear Admiral Mohammad Shahin Iqbal has been appointed Chief of Staff of the Navy.

On Saturday, the Ministry of Defense issued a gazette notification in this respect.

According to the notification, the appointment will take place on the afternoon of 25 July, when Rear Admiral Mohammad Shahin Iqbal will be promoted to Vice Admiral.

He has been appointed Chief of the Navy for three years until July 24, 2023.

Shahin Iqbal will replace the incumbent Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury, who is scheduled to retire on July 25.
