Bangladesh Approves Chinese Covid-19 Vaccine Trial

Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) has approved a Covid-19 vaccine developed by a Chinese firm for a Phase 3 trial in Bangladesh.

The trial will be conducted by the International Center for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr, b). The trial could begin next month.

According to different sources, the vaccine will be applied to around 4,500 health workers of eight Covid-19 dedicated hospitals in Dhaka during the trial period.
