SMCH Assistant Director in RAB Custody

Dr Mohammad Abul Hasnat, an assistant director of Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital, has been taken to custody of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) for interrogation.

The members of the elite force are conducting a drive at Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital in Gulshan of the capital till the filing of this report.

Earlier, a team of RAB led by its executive magistrate Mohammad Sarwar Alam began the raid at around 3:00pm.

The hospital authorities were reportedly conducting rapid tests on samples to diagnose coronavirus without taking permission from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
