Gazette Published Cancelling Contract of DGHS DG

The Public Administration Ministry on Thursday issued a gazette notification canceling contractual appointment of Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Abul Kalam Azad.  

Prof Dr Azad tendered his resignation letter to the Ministry of Public Administration on July 21.

According to the notification, the contractual appointment as the DG of the DGHS has been canceled following his resignation letter on July 21.

Prof Azad was given an appointment as the DG for two years on a contractual basis. He was supposed to continue in his role as DG of DGHS till April 14, 2021.
