Biman to Start Flight Operations on 3 Domestic Routes Saturday

After more than three months of suspension owing to coronavirus pandemic, Biman Bangladesh Airlines will resume its flight operations on three domestic routes Saturday (July 24).

Three domestic routes Dhaka to Chattogram, Saidpur and Sylhet will operate regular flights from the day.

After more than two months of suspension amid COVID-19 pandemic, domestic flight operations resumed on a restricted extent on Dhaka-Chattogram, Dhaka-Sylhet and Dhaka-Syedpur routes maintaining all June 1 health rules.

On 16 June, after more than two months of suspension, flight operations on foreign routes from Bangladesh resumed.

Bangladesh reported its first cases on 8 March and its first death on 18 March but in recent weeks it has seen a sharp rise in both new cases and deaths.
