Taskforce Formed to Probe Irregularities in Health Sector

The government has formed a nine-member taskforce to investigate the alleged irregularities in the health sector.

The health ministry formed the task force on Sunday amid ever-increasing criticisms over irregularities and mismanagement in the sector.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque told reporters earlier on July 22 that the government will form a 'new and stronger' task force.

The task force will inquire at how there are any irregularities in hospitals , clinics and other medical facilities, he said.
