Govt Taking Necessary Steps to Tackle Flood: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the government is taking necessary preparations to tackle the situation, since the flood could prolong this year.

She also instructed Awami League leaders to stay alert and work together to deal with the crisis.

The prime minister gave the instructions via phone call during a meeting of the ruling party in its Dhanmondi office.
