Maj (retd) Sinha Killing: Probe Body Quizzes Pradeep, 2 Others

The probe committee formed to examine the killing of retired Major of Bangladesh Army Sinha Md Rashed Khan is investigating three accused, including former Teknaf Police Station Officer-in-Charge Pradeep Kumar Das in Cox's Bazar District Jail.

The four-member body formed by the Home Ministry started to query Pradeep, Inspector Liaqat Ali, and Sub-Inspector Nandadulal at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.

Md Mokammel Hossain, district jail superintendent, confirmed the news.

The probe committee also held a public hearing in Cox’s Bazar on Sunday.

On July 31, police shot retired Bangladesh Army major Sinha Md Rashed Khan reportedly for obstructing police work in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar.
