Sinha Murder: RAB Visits Killing Site with 3 Prime Accused

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has visited the location where Major (retd) Sinha was murdered. RAB was joined today by three other suspects, including a suspended officer (OC) of the Teknaf Police Station Pradeep Kumar Das.

Mohammad Khairul Islam, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police RAB 15 and also Investigator of the investigation, inspected the site near the Baharchara Police Investigation Centre in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, at about 1:15 p.m.

The other two suspects are Inspector Liakat Ali of the Baharchara Investigative Center and Sub-Inspector Nanda Dulal Rakkhit.

The three suspects were arrested for seven days on 18 August. They were expected to say the murder event, the detective of the murder investigation, on the spot.

Col Tofayel Mostofa Sarker, additional director general of RAB, said, "The step has been taken to match the evidence of the incident with the statements obtained during the interrogation of the main accused in the case."

He said the rest would be said later.
