86kg Govt Rice Seized in Bogura

Police seized 86 kg of government rice from a garage in Umardighi Bazar, Shahjahanpur Upazila, Bogura, on Tuesday.

A man informed the police about the rice by calling 999. The rice was illegally stored, said Ambar Hossain, inspector of the Shahjahanpur Police Station, reports UNB.

No one was arrested in this connection.

Earlier, rice under VGF was distributed among the destitute on Tuesday morning.
