COVID-19 Claims 47 More Lives

Bangladesh confirmed 47 more deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours until 8 a.m. on Friday.    

As a consequence, the death count is currently 4.174 and the mortality rate is 1.36%, according to a press release released by the Directorate-General for Health Services (DGHS) on Friday.  

In the last 24 hours, 2,211 individuals tested positive for Covid-19 and an infection rate of 16.09 percent.

With the latest cases, the country now has 3,06,794 Covid-19 positive infections at an infection rate of 20.26%, according to the DGHS.

As of Friday, 836,065 people died from Covid-19 worldwide and 24,652,423 cases of infection have been reported so far.
