COVID-19: Bangladesh Logs 42 More Death

Bangladesh has registered 42 more deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours until Sunday at 8 am.

According to a press release from the Health Services Directorate (DGHS) on Sunday, the death toll now stands at 4,248 and the mortality rate stands at 1,37 percent.

1,897 individuals tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours and the rate of infection was 15.90 percent.

With the new cases, the country now has 310,822 Covid-19 cases at an infection rate of 20.21 percent, according to the DGHS.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 3,044 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus and the overall number of recoveries reached 201,907 while the pace of recovery is 64.96 percent.
