Maritime Ports Asked to Hoist Signal 3

The Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to lift the local alert signal three as a low-pressure region has been established over North Bay and the adjacent area.

Under its impact and heavy monsoon over the North Sea, the seaports, North Sea and the neighboring coastal areas of Bangladesh could be hit by squally weather, according to a meeting of the Office Special Bulletin on Wednesday.

All fishing boats and trawlers around the North Bay have been told to stay near to the coast and to continue with care before further notice.
