Bangladesh Logs 22 Deaths from COVID-19 in 24Hrs

Bangladesh reported 22 more Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours until early Friday.

According to a press release from the Directorate General of Health Services, the total number of deaths was 4,881 and the death rate stood at 1.41 percent.

1,541 individuals have tested Covid-19 positive in the last 24 hours, bringing the infection tally to 345,805.

The latest daily infection rate was 12.11% while the overall rate stood at 19.25%.  

The deadly virus has killed 950,941 people worldwide and infected 30,372,552 so far, according to Worldometer data.
