Bangladesh Logs 40 More Deaths from COVID-19, New Cases 1,705

Bangladesh has logged 40 more deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours till Monday 8 am.

The death toll now stands at 4,979, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24-hour period, 1,705 people tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the infection tally to 350,621.
