N'ganj Blast: 8 Titas Employees Granted Bail

A Narayanganj court on Monday granted bail to 8 suspended officials and staffers of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited in connection with a blast in a Narayanganj mosque.

Senior Judicial Magistrate of Narayanganj Md Aftabuzzaman passed the order on Monday noon.

Confirming the matter, Narayanganj Court police inspector Md Asaduzzaman said CID produced Titas employees before the court after a two-day remand.

The court granted their bail till the next hearing as their lawyer filed a bail petition.

The next hearing will be held on October 28.

Those who were granted bail are the manager of Fatullah Zone Mohammad Sirajul Islam, deputy manager Mahmudur Rahman Rabbi, and assistant engineers SM Hasan Shahriar and Manik Mia, senior supervisor Moniobur Rahman Chowdhury, senior developer Md Ayub Ali, and assistants Hanif Mia and Ismail Prodhan.
