COVID-19: 100 US-Made Ventilators Arrive in Dhaka

Some 100 American-made ventilators arrived in Bangladesh on Friday.

These brand-new, high-quality devices will save countless lives as we all work together to solve the Covid-19 pandemic, USAID said.

During his recent visit, US Deputy Secretary of State Stephen E Biegun announced the delivery of 100 American-made ventilators highlighting the collaboration between Bangladesh and the United States in the field of public health and the war against Covid-19, reports UNB.

Deputy Secretary Biegun delivered two gas analysers to Health Minister Zahid Maleque and State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak to expand Bangladesh’s capacity to certify and re-check the effectiveness of all ventilators in the country.
